In 1982 the idea of opening a seasonal small family business originated.  The building that we found looked like a "shack" hence the name Custard Shack.  A small amount of renovations were made and what you see here was the Custard Shack in 1982. This picture, to most, probably looks more like the 1960's.

Over the years there have been many changes to the property, always with an eye on improving the appearance and functionality for our customers.  What hasn't changed however was the small idea of offering the very best traditional "old school" soft ice cream!  

We clearly do not have the best marketing plan or any marketing budget.  You won't see us on TV, you won't get a coupon flyer in the mail, you won't see much social media, you don't have to like us on Facebook (but we hope you do) or follow us on Instagram. However, what we hope from word of mouth advertising is that you will try our products and become a loyal customer.
